KAVALAN Distillery Select No.1. This release from Kavalan is the first single malt from the brand to be created for mixing cocktails. This series called Distillery Select Series was crafted by master blender, Ian Chang. The whisky is matured “in select malt neutral casks” to showcase the characteristics of the Taiwanese climate without too much wood influence.

Established in 2005, Kavalan is Taiwan’s first whisky maker and the nation’s only family-owned whisky distillery. Kavalan takes the old name of Yilan county where the distillery is located in northeastern Taiwan. The pure water and fresh air make this part of the subtropical island the ideal environment for the production of whisky.

Macallan Harmony Collection Fine Cacao is a concept that came from Casa Cacao, a boutique chocolate workshop founded by Jordi Roca, dessert chef at Spain’s three-Michelin star “El Celler de Can Roca” and Macallan’s longtime partner. Polly Logan, a Macallan whisky maker, has travelled to Spain on a deep flavour tour to discover a whole new world of cocoa.

KI NO TEA is our product created by collaboration with tea-grower and blender, Hori-Shichimeien, founded in the Meiji era in 1879. Based in the famous Uji region to the south of Kyoto city, a number if super-premium Uji teas have been specially selected to form the heart of KI NO TEA.

KI NO BI GO Kyoto Dry Gin is a limited bottling to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the internationally acclaimed KI NO BI. The name uses the Japanese for five ‘Go’ and the message 5th Anniversary ‘五周年’ is embossed into the label. GO has been tweaked to reflect the botanicals’ qualities at the higher strength at 50% ABV.

 Tasting Notes

• Appearance: The bottle comes in this sleek, smooth, frosted glass that feels really nice to hold. Pouring it out, the liquid is a very light, translucent yellow-orange colour that looks like freshly squeezed lemon juice. 
• Aroma: There’s an apparent sweetness of lemon sorbet, fresh lime and candied tangerine peels.

TASTING NOTES:

• Colour: Burnt orange
• Aroma: Highly aromatic, this dram opens with a nutty, salty smoke with milk chocolate and leathery tobacco. The Oloroso casks have shaped this whisky with a rich syrupy orange and grapefruit citrus, along with hints of clove and cinnamon with walnut and praline.

The Martell NCF Non Chill-Filtered Cognac is a first for the house, in that the filtering process was carried out at room temperature, instead of one that’s lowered. The reason for this is that NCF is intended to be drunk over ice, in a cocktail or long drink, or even straight from the freezer.

TASTING NOTES:

Aged in fine Spanish Oloroso wood and American oak to mature this rich, this is an intriguingly fruity and robust oak expression, but there are many more reasons why this expression is special. Glenfiddich 15 Year Old is a Scotch whisky categorized as one of the best single malts in the world. It has a 40% Alcohol By Volume (ABV) and a volume of 70 cl. This whisky is a 15-year-old golden-colored scotch single malted whiskey. It is produced by the Glenfiddich distillery, one of Scotland’s remaining distilleries capable of maintaining its innovative tradition.

The 36YO is the latest addition to the Double Double range, following the award-winning 21YO expression which was names World’s Best Blended Whisky at the 2021 Worl Whiskies Awards.

Dewar’s Double Double 32 Year is a blended scotch crafted by master blender Stephanie Macleod which is aged in a “four-stage ageing process.” The first step involves single malts and single grains which have been aged separately at least 32 years. Next, the single malts are blended together and rested in exhausted casks. This process is also done for single grains.

Dewar’s double aged for ultimate smoothness. A unique 4-stage ageing process created by Dewar’s first master blender AJ Cameron in 1901. The unique Double Double (4-stage) process allows the whiskies to fuse and ‘marry’ multiple times creating ultimate smoothness.
