KAVALAN Distillery Select No.1. This release from Kavalan is the first single malt from the brand to be created for mixing cocktails. This series called Distillery Select Series was crafted by master blender, Ian Chang. • Appearance: The bottle comes in this sleek, smooth, frosted glass that feels really nice to hold. Pouring it out, the liquid is a very light, translucent yellow-orange colour that looks like freshly squeezed lemon juice. 
• Aroma: There’s an apparent sweetness of lemon sorbet, fresh lime and candied tangerine peels.

TASTING NOTES:

• Colour: Burnt orange
• Aroma: Highly aromatic, this dram opens with a nutty, salty smoke with milk chocolate and leathery tobacco. The Oloroso casks have shaped this whisky with a rich syrupy orange and grapefruit citrus, along with hints of clove and cinnamon with walnut and praline.
