Colour: Brilliant ruby-red, evolving toward garnet as it ages—a hallmark of Sangiovese-based Riserva.

Aroma: Opens with intense red fruit: dark cherries, plum, marasca. Floral undertones of violet and mammola elevate the first impressions. Nuances of leather, tobacco, cedar, and gentle forest-floor spice add complexity and depth. Oak contributes refined accents of vanilla, liquorice, and mocha.

Palate: Medium-full body with a harmonious balance of fruit, acid, and tannins. Bold red and dark fruit flavors—cherry, cassis, currants—supply a juicy core. Spicy-earthy mid-palate with savory herb tones and a hint of iron. Tannins are firm yet silky, offering grip without harshness; the acidity is bright and fresh.
