South Australia’s premium wine regions, particularly in the Limestone Coast where grapes with tremendous structure and beautiful aromatics are found. Well-regarded since its launch in 2002, the Koonunga Hill Cabernet Sauvignon showcases the merits of multi-regional blending to Penfolds ‘House Style’.

Deep crimson in colour this wine is bursting with ripe cherry, blackcurrants and complex five-spice aromas. The palate is an intriguing blend of red-fruit flavours and savoury undertones supported by a rounded and fleshy mid palate. The wine finishes with excellent length and freshness which ensures optimum drinking upon release but will mature well for the medium term.

The Elephant in the Room wines are proudly large in scale and expansive in flavour. Created to deliver full bodied and mouth-filling wines, Elephant in the Room gives consumers what they want- quality, flavour and something to talk about. Each wine is sourced from slow-ripening cool climate vineyards and partially matured in French Oak before final blending and bottling by Corey Ryan.

The complementary varietals of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz were used to craft the Matilda Plains red blend. This wine has been carefully blended to provide a generous and well balanced palate displaying mouth filling fruit, complementing soft well-further enhanced by 10 months maturation in French and American oak barriques.
