Tasting Notes:

Color: Deep reddish pink, almost suggestive of magenta or cranberry juice. It is perfectly transparent.

Aroma: Tart and berry forward with heavy aromas of currant. Angelica and hints of spice round things out and give Bombay Bramble a vague impression of its source material.

The beauty of Bombay Sapphire Gin is in the taste. The botanicals are nicely balanced and add a crispness to the spirit.

Uses 100% Nanko ume from Kishu.  By using highly ripe ume fruits and brandy-prepared umeshu, it has a rich taste but not too sweet. 20% off calories compared to other Kishu umeshu and lower alcohol content.

The name was the Chin dynasty in the year of 1809 when the original city was also built under the same name.

Established in 2005, Kavalan is Taiwan’s first whisky maker and the nation’s only family-owned whisky distillery. Kavalan takes the old name of Yilan county where the distillery is located in northeastern Taiwan. The pure water and fresh air make this part of the subtropical island the ideal environment for the production of whisky.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Quite sweet with gentle notes of vanilla and cut hay, a touch of fresh corn fields and a little cereal sweetness, like the bluegrass fields of Kentucky.

Palate: Good body with notes of toasty oak and all the requisite notes of vanilla and crème anglaise, a little spice and pepper with an acetone note.

Tenjaku Whisky is a melodious blend of malt and grain whiskies, masterfully distilled and blended in Japan. Using only natural ingredients, carefully selected unprocessed whiskies and pure, naturally volcanic filtered spring water are expertly blended to create this distinctive whisky that embodies that harmony derived from Japanese nature and craftmanship.

• Colour: Barley straw.
• Aroma: Aromas of malt sugar and gentle peat smoke lead you into the dram. Layers of fresh green fruit come next followed by rose, geranium, apricot, and eucalyptus. Marzipan, ginger nut biscuits, and honeyed melon can also come through, with the malty fruity character coming to the fore with a little time.

• Aroma: Highly aromatic, this dram opens with a nutty, salty smoke with milk chocolate and leathery tobacco. The Oloroso casks have shaped this whisky with a rich syrupy orange and grapefruit citrus, along with hints of clove and cinnamon with walnut and praline.

• Aroma: Initial impressions are of sweet nutty smoke, loaded with barley sugar and ripe fruit. Syrupy apricot and ripe pear along with malty vanilla notes of barley flour and Crème Brulee, honey and tablet. The American oak brings coconut, almonds and charred oak.
