This is the "Appellation" series that Catena have launched to show the very specific sets of ingredients that go into the much-loved blends.

Kalleske Greenock Shiraz vineyard is located on the Western edge of Greenock  Creek in the Northern Barossa Valley. The vineyard consists of shallow, sandy  loam soil over superb deep red clay and limestone, providing ideal conditions for  Shiraz vines.

The “Greenock” block of grapes was harvested on March 21st.

Carpineto wines are grounded in tradition that influence everything from the sustainable efforts which go into how wine grapes are cultivated to how wine cellars are maintained to follow the natural phenomenon of grape transformation.

TASTING NOTES

Colour: A deep ruby color that may show brightness.

Aroma: Ripe dark fruit (blackberry, plum), with subtle herbaceous or green bell pepper notes.

Palate: Round, medium to full-bodied mouthfeel, smooth tannins, possibly gentle oak or spice elements.

Established in the 18th century in the Haut-Médoc region, this 5th Grand Cru Classé from the 1855 classification has undergone substantial investments in both the vineyard and winery.

Colour: Deep, shining dark red hue with purple reflections, suggesting youth and vibrancy.

During the 18th century, Château Lynch-Moussas became associated with the renowned Lynch family of Irish origin. Classified as a fifth Growth in the Pauillac appellation in 1855, the estate of Château Lynch-Moussas spans across 62 hectares, encompassing the terroirs of Pauillac and Haut-Médoc.

Aroma: On the nose, it presents aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, graphite, and fresh herbs, with subtle notes of pepper, sandalwood, and mineral undertones.

Palate: The palate is medium-bodied, with crisp dark fruit flavors—think black cherry and plum skin—supported by firm, grainy tannins and refreshing acidity.

The 2,5 hectare parcel producing just 10,000 bottles of this confidential wine stand in a mythical triangle of vines surrounded by Château Palmer, Rauzan Segla and Cantenac Brown, just the finest terroir one could hope for in the appellation. "Generous nose showing fruits in brandy, dried fruits and fine oakiness. Warm, expressive attack echoing the nose beautifully.

The Rosso L'Appassione by Sartori di Verona is a wine produced in the suggestive lands of the Tre Venezie, where the vineyards grow on clay, limestone and alluvial soils. It is obtained from a blend of selected grapes: Corvina Veronese, Corvinone, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Apperance: The colour is an intense ruby ​​red, characteristic of this variety.

Aroma: On the nose it releases delicate and persistent fragrances of small red fruits (blackcurrant, blueberry, cherry).

Palate: The mouth fascinates with its breadth, its velvety structure and its beautiful length.
