During the 18th century, Château Lynch-Moussas became associated with the renowned Lynch family of Irish origin. Classified as a fifth Growth in the Pauillac appellation in 1855, the estate of Château Lynch-Moussas spans across 62 hectares, encompassing the terroirs of Pauillac and Haut-Médoc. Consisting of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Merlot, this vineyard has benefited from a century of meticulous care, enabling it to compete with the finest wines of Pauillac. The vines, planted on gravelly günzian slopes characterized by pebbles and gravel cemented by clayey sands, are meticulously tended to reveal the full subtlety of their terroir. From soil management to vinification, including aging and bottling, the teams at Château Lynch Moussas employ their expertise and passion while respecting the terroir and the environment.

TASTING NOTES
Colour: Deep garnet-purple with intensity and clarity.

Aroma: The nose opens with cedar, cassis, warm plums, and a raspberry coulis, layered with hints of oolong tea, Marmite toast, sautéed herbs, and charcuterie—a beautifully complex and savory expression.

Palate: On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, delivering a robust core of muscular dark fruit, supported by firm, grainy tannins and a freshness that balances richness—culminating in a long, savory finish.
